Section for children provides the following services during the opening hours:

• Home lending of books for 1 month with a possibility of prolongation of the borrowing by e-mail, phone, through the reading account or personally
• Home lending of magazines for 14 days with a possibility of prolongation of the borrowing by e-mail, phone, through the reading account or personally
• Reference services
• Booking of the lent literature personally, by phone, electronically
• Access to the on-line catalogue
• Access to the Internet
• Possibility of booking of the access to the internet in advance by e-mail, phone or personally
• Reprographic services (black and white printing)
• Downloading data
• Lending of board games (in-house use)
• Organizing of competitions and quizzes
• Offer of events for schools
• Sale of rejected books (once a year)
• Sale of reading badges

Outside the opening hours the Children's section provides discussions and educational events for institutions (schools, kindergartens, school clubs) on the bases of a previous agreement.
